Pete and Toshi Seeger Wetlands Preservation Concert

The Bus for Progress is teaming up with our friends at the Sierra Club to attend the Pete and Toshi Seeger Wetlands Preservation Concert and Environmental Expo on Friday night, November 30th at the Breslin Theater in Lodi, NJ.

Don't worry about the traffic, directions or tolls.  Ride the
Bus for Progress in comfort, and make some new friends along the way!  The bus will pick up folks at the locations listed below.  Please arrive at each stop 10 minutes early, so that you can hop on the bus when it arrives.

4:40 - Lowe's Shopping Center on 4975 State Highway 9, in Howell (park near the Chic-fil-a).

5:10 - Garden State Parkway (GSP) Mile 100 Rest Area in Wall.  Meet the bus at the front of the rest area building.

5:30 - Commuter Parking Lot at GSP Exit 109 in Red Bank.  Located on Schultz Drive, just off Newman Springs Road.  Meet the bus at the parking lot entrance.

6:00 - GSP Cheesequake Rest Area, mile 123.  Meet the bus in front of the rest area building.

6:45 - Arrive at theater.

Tickets are $23 each for the round-trip transportation.  Please click here to reserve your seat on the bus via PayPal or check. 

The bus has seats for 25 people, and will be filled in the order the payment is received.  Proceeds go to support the Bus for Progress, and its non-profit organization.  We need a minimum of 16 people.  Invite family and friends!

Reserve your seat today to help better protect our wetlands while enjoying “banjos and honky-tonk piano galore” at the Pete and Toshi Seeger Wetlands Preservation Concert and Environmental Expo!  On November 30th the New Jersey Sierra Club will be singing along with Pete Seeger and friends all to advance wetlands protections.  You do not want to miss this fun and educational event!

The concert has been relocated to the beautiful Breslin Theater, 246 South Main St, Lodi, NJ 07644. The theater is on the campus of Felician College.  Breslin Theater has a stellar history of fine productions.

New tickets are presently being designed to coincide with the new seating chart. They will be mailed as soon as they are available. Sorry for the delay and thank you for your patience.

Arrive early to check out the Environmental Expo starting at 7pm.  NJ Sierra Club along with other environmental and conservation groups from across the state will highlight the ongoing work being done to protect the Meadowlands region and how individuals can get involved.  The goal of this concert is to raise awareness about the importance of and beauties that lie in our wetlands and how we can get involved in better protecting them.
